Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson, AZ is hosting a group show surrounding the release of Mark Sublette's new book; "Maynard Dixon’s American West: Along the Distant Mesa".
This volume is
an homage to Maynard Dixon through the eyes of artists
working today. Works by 40 nationally and internationally recognized
artists influenced by Dixon will be exhibited March 7 through April
30th, 2019.
This show is very unique as the contemporary artwork will be hung next
to Maynard Dixon original drawings, illustrations and oil paintings, 40 Dixon's
will also be for sale. “Maynard Dixon’s American West: Along the Distant
Mesa” the show’s accompanying hardback book, is now available for
purchase thru the gallery.
