Here is a small black and white version of a larger, full colour oil nocturne that will show in the Night of Artists show at the Briscoe Museum opening March 27th, 2020 in San Antonio, TX.  I will post the colour version as the show draws closer, but wanted to share the drawing first~

I have been invited to show in the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum's "Small Works, Great Wonders" miniature show opening November 8th in Oklahoma City. 

This painting, "Let's Go home" will be featured then, and I've also been invited to show as a guest artist in their premier western show, the Prix De West in June 2020!

The HUNT show at Salmagundi Club

This painting will be part of a group show titled, "The Hunt" opening September 19th thru the 23rd, 2019 at the Salmagundi Club in New York city, curated by Vanessa Rothe Fine Art.  

The rifle my model was holding is a Winchester 1895 that was actually used in the Spanish American War by my friends grandfather (has 7 notches on it's stock)~

Western Art Collector magazine May 2019

My new solo show, "Under A Desert Sky" will open in Los Angeles at Maxwell Alexander Gallery, May 4th. This will be my third solo show in as many years with 12 new paintings of western and cowboy scenes, primarily in southwest desert settings featuring dominating design elements of stylized cloud and land formations.

"Time To Go" (12x16 cropped) SOLD

My third solo show with Maxwell Alexander Gallery is coming up quick! I'm still working on finishing up paintings that will be featured, opening May 4th in Los Angeles.  

The show, titled "Under A Desert Sky" will consist of at least 12 new oils of American cowboys in southwestern landscapes -- sizes range from 12x16 up to 34x30.

Show at Medicine Man Gallery, Tucson~

Medicine Man Gallery in Tucson, AZ is hosting a group show surrounding the release of Mark Sublette's new book; "Maynard Dixon’s American West: Along the Distant Mesa".

This volume is an homage to Maynard Dixon through the eyes of  artists working today. Works by 40 nationally and internationally recognized artists influenced by Dixon will be exhibited March 7 through April 30th, 2019.  

This show is very unique as the contemporary artwork will be hung next to Maynard Dixon original drawings, illustrations and oil paintings, 40 Dixon's will also be for sale. “Maynard Dixon’s American West: Along the Distant Mesa” the show’s accompanying hardback book, is now available for purchase thru the gallery.
